"True Colors" is a colorful hand painted depiction of Jorah, a resident of the Endangered Wolf Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
This wolf was a struggle. If you followed in my stories you saw how much I worked on it the past 4 days, it was a lot.
When the possibilities are endless, it can get overwhelming. I decided to go with subtle rainbow colors, so in the shadows you'll find purples, pinks, subtle green, orange, yellow, and a lot of shades of blue in Natural Earth Paint. But it's subtle enough to still look realistic, I think.
The hand painted original is on a 12"x16" canvas panel.
The Endangered Wolf Center had Wolf Fest 2026 this fall. Their dedication to saving wolves and canids through breeding, reintroduction, and education is inspiring.
Natural Earth Paint has paired up with me for this collection. Their pigments, paints, and solvents are all natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly.
My Passion for Sustainability: At the heart of this collection lies a dedication to sustainable artistry. I believe that nature not only inspires us but is also in need of our protection. By utilizing non-toxic paints and solvents, I hope to demonstrate my deep respect for the environment and a commitment to reducing waste. Each piece in my "Wolf Fest Collection" embodies the essence of conservation.
